Milton Keynes Christian Centre

The Milton Keynes Christian Centre currently provides the location of The Food Bank Centre where there are a number of volunteers who work on various aspects of the project. The Food Bank was established in Milton Keynes in June 2004 as a direct response to an initiative started by the Trussell Trust in Salisbury, which has been operating a similar scheme there since the year 2000.

The Trussell Trust

The Trussell Trust is a Christian charity (No. 1061207) which aims to reduce poverty, deprivation and despair at the point of need. The Trust runs life-changing community projects such as The Salisbury FOOD BANK and assists organisations on how to start a FOOD BANK in their area.

Lightforce

Lightforce International is an organisation that brings help to the needy and hope to the poor . Working in Eastern Europe since 1980, Lightforce has been involved in Poland, Czech and Slovak Republics, Romania, Estonia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Kosova, & Croatia.

Lightforce International have continuing links in these countries in association with national churches and supported workers. Lightforce has also placed workers with other organisations in Africa, India, Mongolia and New Zealand. Currently our major areas of involvement are Albania, Serbia, Kenya, Uganda & India.

Eclipse

Eclipse is a counselling service that has operated in Newport Pagnell for over 5 years. It is a registered charity that seeks to meet the needs of people within the Milton Keynes area. Eclipse is a general counselling service that has particular expertise and experience in the area of addiction counselling. All of it's services are provided free of charge to the client.
