To cope with an ever-increasing
demand for emergency food, The Food Bank collects supplies
through schools, churches and other groups. Collection
days outside supermarkets present an ideal opportunity
to raise the awareness of the need amongst the local
population and has prompted some encouraging and immediate
donations.
School and Church Harvest Festivals have been very
important instrumentally in building up alternative
collection sources.
Donations of food can be made to The Food Bank at the Milton Keynes Christian Centre on Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 4.00pm and Sundays between 8.00am-1.00pm.
